Cookie Policy
Last updated:
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We also use similar browser storage (“local storage”). This page lists what DJholic stores and why. See also the Privacy Policy.
In short
Essential storage (always on)
- locale (cookie, 1 year) — remembers the language you chose or that your browser asked for.
- Sign-in (browser local storage) — your access and refresh tokens and a copy of your basic profile, so you stay signed in and the app can show your name and role. Removed when you sign out.
- Sign-up and one-time-passcode progress (local storage) — the step you are on, the email or phone you are verifying, and the passcode expiry, so a refresh does not lose your place. Also a page to return to after sign-in.
- Event creation draft (session storage) — keeps what you typed while building an event.
- App and offline cache (service worker and browser cache) — keeps the app icons, the “you are offline” page and the site's static files so the installed app opens quickly and can show that page without a connection. It never stores your account data, payments or API responses. Also remembers if you dismissed the “install the app” suggestion.
These are needed to provide the service you ask for, so they do not require consent.
Services that may see your browser
Some features load code or content from other providers. When they do, that provider can see your IP address and basic browser details, and may set its own storage under its own policy:
- Google, for “Continue with Google”: its sign-in script (accounts.google.com) is loaded only when you open a sign-in or sign-up screen, never on other pages, and Google may set its own storage for that button under its own policy.
- Your browser's push service (run by Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft), only if you turn on notifications.
- unpkg (Leaflet library) and OpenStreetMap (map tiles), on the venue map picker for artists and hosts.
- Google Fonts / font files are bundled with the site, not requested from Google.
If error reporting (Sentry) is switched on, it sends technical details of a failure, not your personal data, and it is set up not to collect cookies. We load no chat widget, tag manager or advertising script.
Optional storage (analytics, marketing)
None today. If we introduce any, we will add a consent banner, the tool will stay switched off until you choose “Accept all”, and this page will be updated with the tool and its purpose.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time; note that this signs you out.
