Create your venue profile
Add your venue from the Venues page. It is listed as soon as you save; there is no separate approval step.
- Open Venues and choose Add venue.
- Fill in the details below and save. You see "Venue created and listed" and can host events there straight away.
- Name, city, country and capacity are required. Capacity is a whole number from 1 to 100,000.
- Street, state or region and postcode make your address complete for guests.
- Latitude and longitude are required, but you rarely type them. Pick your address from the Find address suggestions, or press Find coordinates from address, and they are filled in for you. You can still overwrite them by hand. In Melbourne latitude is negative, for example -37.8136 and 144.9631.
- Venue type: indoor, outdoor, rooftop, club, bar, private or other.
- Music licence (optional): the scheme (OneMusic Australia or Other), the country, a licence number or reference, and an expiry date. It is your own statement; DJHOLIC does not check it and does not provide a licence.
The Venues screen shows a profile completeness meter that lists what is still missing. Aim for 100%. Next, make the page work for you: photos, description and amenities. You can edit a venue at any time with Edit on its card.
A venue must exist before you can create an event, and an event's venue cannot be changed after it is created.
