Let guests order food and drink
Build a menu for your venue, turn ordering on, and run orders from the Bar orders tab. Guests pay at the venue.
- On your Venues page choose Food and drink on the venue card.
- Turn on Let guests order food and drink at this venue, choose Pick up at the bar and/or Bring it to their table, and add your liquor licence number and expiry if you serve alcohol.
- Add categories and items with a price, type, description and optional stock. Tick Contains alcohol where it applies.
- During the event, open the Bar orders tab. Accept, prepare and mark orders ready, then hand over.
- Guests can only order while the event is live, and only if they have joined it.
- Payment: guests pay your bar directly. DJHOLIC records the order but does not take payment or any cut.
- Any order with alcohol needs the guest's ID checked at hand-over. You confirm it with a tick, and this cannot be turned off.
- You can decline an order with a reason, such as out of stock or the bar has closed. Mark an item Sold out to stop orders for it.
- You can pause ordering with Taking orders right now during a rush.
Venues are solely responsible for selling and serving alcohol, including the licence, serving responsibly and age checks.
