Get started as a venue or host
Register, complete your business details, add a venue, create an event, book an artist, publish, and connect Stripe.
- Join as a partner on the host sign-up page and choose Venue or Private host. You sign in at partner sign-in with a one-time code sent to your email or phone.
- Open Settings and complete Business details: whether you run events as a venue or a private host, your legal business name, address and country, and your tax number (for example your ABN). Our team reviews these. Until they are approved you cannot create or publish events.
- Create your venue profile.
- Create an event at that venue. It starts as a draft.
- Book an artist. You can publish once an artist has accepted.
- Publish your event, then share the link and QR code.
- Connect Stripe so you can get paid.
Your dashboard has a Next steps card that ticks these off as you go, and the Venues screen has a completeness meter for your venue profile.
- DJHOLIC does not grant any licence to play or perform music. The venue and host are responsible for every licence needed for public performance. In Australia that is typically OneMusic Australia. Your confirmation on the venue form is your own statement; we do not verify it.
- Venues and hosts are solely responsible for selling and serving alcohol at their events, including holding the licence and checking age. DJHOLIC is not a liquor licensee.
- You are responsible for the safety of your venue and the laws that apply to it, including capacity and permits.
